Scottsdale Airpark
From humble beginnings in 1953 to today, historically the area has always surpassed every growth prediction.
The Airpark has approximately 60,000 employees, along with over 44 million square feet of buildings and nearly 3,300 companies. As predicted by those that know the Greater Scottsdale Airpark well – this unique business area has become what is described by many as an “18-Hour” City.
A strong job market increase every year, the nearly 9,000 + multifamily units (at just under 10 million sf), accompany the new contemporary retail and hotel amenities. The area is energetic all day and early into the night, giving rise to an urban atmosphere …where people can walk to restaurants, breweries and the like. This attractiveness is pulling in new employers, and in turn, attracts job seekers and entrepreneurs. The current master plan for the airport does not allow any commercial flights given the noise concerns.
